Golfmanager has added three new courses to its global community. Golf Club Lignano in Italy holds the fourth rank in the Golfer’s Choice 2024 by Leading Courses, making it the most notable among them.
Thus, Golfmanager continues to grow in Italy, a country where it already manages other prominent names such as Verdura Resort, the best Golf Resort in Italy and the third-best in Europe according to the Golf World ranking, Marco Simone Golf & Country Club (Official Venue of the 2023 Ryder Cup), Olgiata Golf Club, and Il Picciolo Etna Golf & Resort, among others.
Golf Club Lignano is an 18-hole course designed by Marco Croze, spanning over 70 hectares, and is considered one of the best clubs in northern Italy.
It has hosted several prestigious international championships, including the Italian Women’s Open, the European PGA Trophy of Champions, the Servizitalia Open of the Alps Tour, and the Lignano Open.
Romania and Norway: Two New Countries for Golfmanager
Alongside Golf Club Lignano, National Golf & Country Club and Oustøen Country Club have become the first golf courses in Romania and Norway, respectively, to choose Golfmanager as their management software.
This way, the technology company makes its first step into these two European golf markets, expanding its presence into new territories, which underscores the flexibility and potential of its technology to service any course in any region of the world, across more than 20 countries where it is already present.
National Golf & Country Club is located less than 37 kilometers north of Bucharest. It is part of a newly constructed resort complex with a wide range of sports facilities accessible to all players. This course has already established itself as the top golf course in the country and has selected Golfmanager to manage all of its operations in a single all-in-one platform.
Golfmanager’s all-in-one capability, along with its cybersecurity, endorsed by ISO 27001 certification, has led this complex to choose the system that is running in 28 of the Top 100 Best European Resorts.
Meanwhile, Norway’s Oustøen Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course built in the 1960s, located in a pristine natural reserve with a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Oslo fjord. This club is 100% digitalized thanks to Golfmanager’s technology.
Daniel Sillari, co-CEO and co-founder of Golfmanager, states, “We are very pleased to continue progressing in a market like Italy with Golf Club Lignano joining our community”.
“Golfmanager is more than prepared to serve any type of course, regardless of the location. Our ongoing expansion into new regions like Romania and Norway includes new courses seeking digitalization.”
